I am Kyle Story, and am currently a graduate student of physics a the University of Chicago. Bozeman MT was my home through high school. I completed my B.A. at Cornell University in May 2007, majoring in Physics and Math. Last year I worked for Jim Alexander on the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. Currently, I am working on the BICEP and SPUD telescopes, which aim to measure the B-mode polarization of the CMB. The purpose of this webpage is as an online work notebook, making it easy to share ideas among the people I work with, and organizing thoughts for my own reference.
Life beyond physics does exist! I like climbing (rock, ice, alpine, mountaineering), skiing and ski mountaineering, unicycling, and other outdoor activities. I love music and play the tuba and trombone actively. As a random side note, if your wallet is weighing too heavily in your pocket, donate to the Cornell Costa Rica project. I have gone to Costa Rica with them twice and Cindy Johnston Turner has an amazing program going.
